With getting back from holiday and the long bank holiday weekend I am sat here having a nice glass of Marlborough Sauv Blanc whilst my students have changed into dogi and giving me a text message to ask if training is on.

Oops!!!!! Forgot it was Thursday and not Friday.

What penance for me?

Reminds me of an old seafaring 'morning after' rhyme that advanced a little judicious moderation by droning:

"When boys have money they think they're men but when they're drunk they're boys again."

Which translates as; "It is not possible to vomit and fight at the same time."

Theakstons Old Peculier, it does exactly what it says on the tin.

Don't worry dangers, I will be on 24*7 cover on all the network and servers at work, whilst I am BBQing.

It might be strong but not that strong. There is another real ale called Old Roger.

The local Ringwood brewery make something called Old Thumper. Maybe more apt for this forum.

Oh well, for the advance publicity you enthusiasts gave it I felt sure there would be at least one seiza in every bottle..?

and it is crossing my fertile mind but while the Thumper might well be appropriate -- I might just hafta draw a line through the ol' Rogering for this post..

Ah you meant seiza, my mucky mind worked overtime on the 'perculier' and being on the knees to mean something totally different and inappropriate for this forum!

Anyway, the long weekend is here, wife is away at her parents so I will be uploading holiday photos, updating web sites and having a meal and drink for one.
