Make sure the door of the fridge opens to the left. (to your right when you open it)
Approach it from the left.
Then open the door facing the inside of the frigde ala Kihon gumite ipponme.

And I got a lot more where that came from ;)

I'm glad I'm not the only person doing these things in the world outside of the dojo.

I remember reading that Otsuka Meijin would practice taisabaki through crowds of people in the streets. I'm sure promoting wado became too time consuming at some point.

How many of you have been caught out in the workplace washroom going through some particular move from kata or kumite?

All light switches are turned on with the ball of the foot only and show removal is done in Kokutsu-dachi for a good workout and Zenkutsu-dachi for a light workout.

I work with a small team who are well use to seeing me practice the odd move from kata and kumite. I work on a large piece of machinery and to me parts of it are as good as a wing chun dummy. Nagashi uke/tate zuki are quite a common occurance - It helps pass the time :-)

Do what I did, find a wife in the dojo. When the kids come, make them train too.

My wife calls it the "family curse".

When I am on the London Tube, it is seishan or naihanchi dachi all the way.
