Hi

Just want to share som old pictuers. I "lost" the picturs some years but luckily found them again on an old CD.
This is from Todai, Tokyo Univ. and this is the second time I meet sensei, the year before I did my shodan shinsa for him.
At the time I was young and hansom, now I am only hansom... (1977)

Ohtsuka sensei had a very bad cold and did not put on he´s do-gi. He came to say hello but he stay for a good hour to teach.

Lovely photos.

Very nice pictures. That dojo has a special atmosphere. The karate club have been using it since the late 1930's; a building of that age is rare in Tokyo. It is shared with other Budo groups. If you think karategi can smell bad, try training near the kendo armour - smells like horses!

Oh. These are really wonderful. Thanks so much for sharing these. I completely forgot how small he was. Maybe he seemed larger in person. So many years ago.
