Back from the dead

Apologies to those not in the UK.

Last night on Channel 4 saw the start of a new drama/documentary series 'Back from the dead' Forensic scientists investigating in this case 200 year skeletons from a Royal Naval graveyard, investigating what the bones can tell us with how they lived and died during Nelsons era in the Royal Navy (quite graphic and very brutal).

I mention this because in a couple of weeks they will be doing the same in Japan with exhumed bones of Samurai Warriors and if the first episode was anything to go by it could be well worth watching.

Wow Shep, just think - if it's amazing what a 200 year old spot of Royal navel gazing can do in the old Dart, what delights might Japan's 200 year old fighting man's umbilicus reveal about our version of Naihanchi..? I can't wait..

I think its was made along with the National Geographic channel so I'm sure it will find its way to the colonies at some point ;-)
