i've been lucky enough to attend quite a few classes and courses that Peter Spanton has instructed as i am a member of H.K.K and he is a tru inspiration!

Thanks for posting the link. I found it interesting. He is one of the original UK Wado students.
On the Higashi website, I noticed here http://www.higashi.org.uk/ that he was graded to 4th dan in 1974 by Suzuki sensei and Kono sensei. I'd be interested to learn more about the circumstances of that grading as I don't think Peter Spanton was part of the UKKF? Perhaps he maintained a close association with them.
