I hope you find something you like amongst that lot, Of course it is all a matter of taste anyway. and I find the palate changes every so often. At the moment for instance, the Rhone Valley in France has some fine wines from Centuries old vines and there is a good range of these in in Oz too so I have been sampling a few of those lately.. Tanners have a good selection.

Thanks for that, i dont mind spending a couple of sovs extra for a decent wine. Yes Tanners are quite a major player in the importing of wines from around the world. We are not without our own vineyard around here of course

But I find the price of their wines very expensive for what they are which, to me anyway, just tastes like Blue Nun plonk. I must confess I haven't tried the red.

I too like the Argentinian Malbec when I was on a journey away from the Oz Cab Savs.

The Tarrango, the special training is that you need to wait for a warm evening BBQ and have the red wine chilled, not too much, but definitely chilled. It goes down really well in that scenario.
