There you go again with the 'forgiving' people Heretic but at 22 years of age it really isn't your job y'know.

As for me being tetchy, well it comes with the understanding that while youthful exuberance can be a matter for reflection in wado ryu, youthful arrogance is seldom welcome amongst seasoned wado practitioners who have obi older than you.

Glad you took the time from your busy training schedule to spell his name right though.

I hadn't realised I had spelt Suzuki Hanshi's name incorrectly in my first post; I'll go back and change it.

Although not an official Kata this is the performance I saw on video that convinced me to go train with Suzuki Hanshi as soon as I could; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oaBax7WnGPg

I have tried copying it sometimes and the manoeuvre at 2:02 still gets me. Does any one know the origin of this kata, which I assume was an original invention of his, and what the aims might have been?

Seems your guy knew a little more about the perils of Suzuki's tamashiwara than Kuniaki did Tim.

Well whoever Acer is, and there were a lot of these 'my dad is bigger than your dad' guys about in the kindergarten - but he's had his fifteen minutes of anonymous fame and reflected glory and I have fallen out of love with him/her now. - or at least until she matures a little.

Sorry I still don’t want to make a presentation of my self...I prefer the anonymous style...
