Happy B-day! Haven't dropped in a while but my Wado training is going well. Have to thank this forum for its existence and for helping me find a really excellent Wado school up in Ontario. Not only is it great as a karate school but it's the best martial arts school I've ever studied at. Thanks again for this forum. It's been a godsend to me.

Nice one, Gordon.
The man is right, running a community is an art all by itself. And it's hard. There sure are a few learning points in that article...

What strikes me most is that this is a man who knows very little about martial arts, yet becomes the person to keep all the martial artists in check. Doesn't that make him the best martial artist of them all?
:-)

I don't know that much as well, so it helps.

Well it ain't rocket science to work out that Karate forums are akin to the Agony Aunt columns in newspapers Gordon. These are usually peopled by poor buggers with the same or similar afflictions who obviously feel venting will ease their pain. It takes all types and maybe karate types are just more valetudinary than others which would make this guy's 'walk on the wild side' affliction easier too.

Haha. That is an interesting thought. :)

Congratulations on the one year milestone, Mr. Fong. Best of luck with year two!
