If you want something to think about, think about Pinan Nidan. And then come back to us... :-)

Let me add something to wadokas reply. It is a more practical And dynamic approach, hence a reason for hikite. Leave Your arm out And THE opp wil grab it, at least i Will.majin29 wrote:I have one more enquiry- what is the application of this waza? Thanks kindly.
I'm curious about Majin's question, just what is meant by 'pull back that follows it'? Pulling what back, the hand? (front or back?) or the front foot?WadoAJ wrote:Let me add something to wadokas reply. It is a more practical And dynamic approach, hence a reason for hikite. Sorry- I meant the lead arm that does the junzuki. When that gets pulled back I wasn't sure what that was for. My sensei says I should only have about a fist space between the elbow and ribcage in that end position. Makes sense to me- protect the ribs.Tim49 wrote:I'm curious about Majin's question, just what is meant by 'pull back that follows it'? Pulling what back, the hand? That is the explanation I use, the one fist bit.majin29 wrote: Sorry- I meant the lead arm that does the junzuki. When that gets pulled back I wasn't sure what that was for.
