In both cases the beginning is different but I believe the kuzushis' main points are the same as in the one that shep probably means.
I could speculate that the reason for the different ways of finishing what is many times called Kumite gata 2, is that both are natural endings and also related in such a way that if you feel one isn't working you can still try the other one or take it further.
Here it would be very interesting to hear from TSYR!
