Otsuka sensei during WWII

Post by frankareyes »

Hi All, this is my first post. It's about a interesting question that one of my curious student make me some days ago.

As we all know, WWII was lasted from 1939 to 1945. Many countries was involved including Japan. I read many articles that say that in japan many martial artist was recruited but I doesn't find anything regarding Otsuka sensei.

The question is: Did Otsuka sensei participated in World War II?

Thank you all in advance.

Getting a little off topic, but....

Japan was fighting militarily long before 1939. There were many people deemed to be able to enhance the efforts in Manchuria which ended up in Manchuria (Manchukuo) by different means.

Many affluent, powerful, and otherwise useful people were disassociated with their actions and efforts on the Asian continent during the period from about 1931 to 1945 and became influential in post WWII Japan.
