Shelfies

Post by Tim49 »

Here's one that might be fun.
This gave me an idea.

But what about all you other martial arts bibliophiles?
What do your bookshelves look like, and what do they tell us?

If I get the chance I'll snap a picture tonight. (not sure I know how to upload the pic though)

No posing though. (Warts and all!) I'll try and include my copy of 'Bodhisatva Warriors' AND 'the Magus of Java', which I keep to remind myself what an idiot I am.

My study is in a state of disrepair as still sorting out the rest of the house but I will get round to it one day.

I was going to suggest a willy measuring contest - but I'd almost certainly lose that too! ;)

Lighten up Gary :-)
When you go into someone's house don't you find yourself drawn towards their bookshelves?
With martial artists it's fun to see which books are in circulation and could act as a springboard for recommendation of decent books.
I notice Shep has a copy of Uyenishi's early book on Jujutsu, it's quite rare, I wonder which edition it is?

I used to buy books all the time, now I hardly bother.

Hi Tim

It's the sixth edition. Still cost a bit though!

Managed to access the bookcase now.

There are a couple of books missing or hidden behind stuff but this is most of what I have.
