I think a new thread could be started regarding the nuances of the Japanese language. I think I'd best stick with my dojo Japanese, some say I still struggle wiv da Inglish innit!

I didn't realise The Academy didnt practice them, never even thought about it. I assumed from the first post they did. But anyway they are good as an inroduction to Wado movement.

Hi Jacob, welcome to the forum. I believe these are practiced throughout the three main groups, albeit maybe minor differences here and there, some practice these as Ippon Kumite and some as Sanbon Kumite. The late Fukazawa Sensei shown on the link was WIKF.

Hi Tim I can only say that it is launched in conjunction with the course, they intend publishing either just one or maybe two a year. Each run will have a very limited number.
