Great!
I am planning a training trip to Japan coming spring but hopefully I will be in Torrevieja september or october 2018. I will send you a PM when I know for sure. Do you stay in Torrevieja or Alicante?

Re: Wado clubs in Spain
I have seen the dojo in Torrevieja on Facebook but got no response when trying to contact them. I am looking for a Wado dojo in the Torrevieja/Alicante area. Please provide links or contact info. I am going there once or twice a year and would love to combine renshu with vacation. ;)

Re: Smashing and smearing eggs into the chest
Hi Gordon!
Very low activity on the forum nowadays.
One reason why you have not gotten any respons to your posting may be that not everyone may be able to relate to kumite gata or Ippon gumite. Maybe if you refrase your finding refering to kihon gumite, a larger audience could relate?

Interesting topic.
Since Suzuki Sensei was mentioned, I thought that this youtube clip of him demonstrating Sanbon gumite Jodan uke Sanbonme could be of interest:

Opening your body, pinan shodan and uraken uchi
Hello Wado karate-ka! Today I was instructor of an outdoor session ( summer in the Nordics ) We did kata Chinto, pinan shodan & sandan and Sanbongumite 1 & 2 ( yes, Suzuki lineage). I did get some questions about the first movements of pinan shodan. I talked about using the opening up our bo...

More Aussie wine...
The forum is very quiet at the moment. Everyone deeply occupied in renshu I guess. Picked up a nice bottle of wine on my way home from work. Decided to try some Aussies and I can recommend Caravan Durif from Quarisa wines. It went well with grilled salmon, grilled haloumi cheese and grilled garlic a...

Shiai in Wado context
Since my first post on this forum seem to have gotten some attention I thought I might as well post a new one (holding sente, ha ha). This is a totally different topic though. Once a week I have a dojo session with our Shiai group. I am trying my best to blend modern training methods for speed, card...

Re: Analyze this... Intent
Just thought I would throw in a big thanx to everybody who contributed in elaborating in this thread. I was afraid this forum had gone sleepy when I posted the first reflection, but you have certainly proven me wrong. ” The first part of seishan is a major intent driven exercise. My hands are extend...

Analyze this... Intent
Hi! Maybe this should go in an already existing thread but in that case Admin is free to move it. During the last few weeks I have been working extra on kata. I have also been working solo on kihon gumite (also kata I guess). One thing that struck me as I was doing KG1 was that after the second move...
